Product Description
The Modern Fireplace Mantel Shelf has contemporary, modern details of tiered, cascading ledges. This mantel shelf will be built to order and manufactured to fit your custom specifications! Be sure to view the alternate images, especially those illustrating the Modern Shelf shown with our Contemporary Fireplace Mantel Surround for an ultra urban and contemporary design available separately. All stain grade mantels are made from a combination of hardwoods and veneers. Paint grade product is made from solid poplar moldings and MDF which can be primed and painted.

Just bought two modern mantels. The product is clearly to the expectations. Great dimensional accuracy, craftsman's work and overall finish. The mantels were delivered sooner than promised. The packaging is well designed and easy to open. The wall attachment system works real well - Nice Product! Thank You.

We are so happy with the mantel! I was expecting three boards glued together, but instead it is a beautiful, custom built piece with detailed edges. So much nicer than the picture! The color and finish is perfect. It was much easier to install than expected also.

It was a pleasure to do business with Mantelcraft. They have standard and custom manufacturing and lots of beautiful styles to choose from. I chose an unfinished mahogany modern mantel.
It arrived quickly with mounting instructions. My mantel top has some mortar globs so that the top goes on evenly, and maybe we will have to install some sort of trim so that the top looks more seamless.
Workmanship is excellent. Some packing material got stuck to the wood and we have to remove that very carefully.
I would recommend this in a nanosecond!
