Product Description
The Appalachian with custom sizing is a wood mantel shelf featuring rustic distressing with the look and feel of a solid beam without all the weight. It can be used as a fireplace mantel shelf or as a decorative shelf for any room in your home or office. The Appalachian is made from pine and is available unfinished or in an optional weathered gray, antique brown, or natural finish and comes with a 2 x 4 mounting strip. I love the rustic look of this beam mantel and especially love that it does not weigh 100 pounds. This product is super easy to install and gives the fireplace that rustic look with half the work! I have now used it on three of my jobs

I ordered this mantel and am extremely happy with my purchase. It is simply beautiful and was really easy to install. I get compliments from EVERYONE who comes over and have had a few friends ask where I got it as they were interested in ordering. I won't need another mantel for a very long time if ever but if I should I will definitely be a return customer!
