Modern Mantels and The Holidays

For most living rooms, the fireplace is often the focal point of the room. At Christmas time, draped with greenery and holiday decor, it becomes even more so. Since Christmas less than four weeks away, we thought we would share some fresh, yet traditional ideas for decorating your modern mantel from MantelCraft. 

Create another little world on top of your mantel complete with snow-covered houses and a church. For an even more dramatic look, drape a snow-covered swag down across the front. Allow red ribbon to swirl through and around.  This ties it in beautifully with other colors in the room.

If you prefer a more subdued color palette, consider decorating your mantel in green and white. A magnolia garland and blooms combined with green and white stockings make for a soothing holiday modern mantel scape.
