Product Description
The Modern Fireplace Mantel Shelf has contemporary, modern details with tiered, cascading ledges. This mantel shelf is available in standard sizes of 48", 60", 72". Be sure to view the alternate images, especially those illustrating the Modern Shelf shown with our Contemporary Fireplace Mantel Surround for an ultra urban and contemporary design available separately. All stain grade mantels are made from a combination of hardwoods and veneers. Paint grade product is made from solid poplar moldings and MDF which can be primed and painted.

I was searching online for mantels and found this company along with others. They had this one shelf I kept coming back to but I was a little reluctant to place the order without seeing it first as pictures may not be all that accurate. I called Mantel Craft and spoke with one person who was delightful and answered my questions then I called back and spoke with Michael Richards for some clarification. After speaking with Michael I placed my order. Michael is what customer service is all about. My order was received within the stated approximate timeline and arrived without damage and ready for install. I ordered the modern mantel shelf and could not be happier with the style and quality. I would absolutely recommend this business.

I recently bought a house and the fire place did not have a mantel. I stumbled across this website and when I saw this mantel I knew it was the one. Simple, elegant and modern. I've been very reluctant to buy items online without an opportunity to see it first, and felt I took a chance... No worries, it looks just like the pictures and the craftmanship is outstanding! The customer service (and the Southern accents!) made it all the easier, very nice and I love the mantel. A before and after picture will follow. Thanks!
